1. Consultation & Cabinet Evaluation
During your at-home consultation, we’ll calculate a fixed and exact price for your project using our proprietary software, The Spray-Network, to provide full price transparency and consistency. We’ll thoroughly evaluate the extent of repairs to let you know if your cabinets are in good enough condition to be refinished with our coating. We’ll also help you choose one of our designer-curated kitchen cabinet paint colors and explore ways we can keep your project cost-effective and within your budget.
2. Coating Formulation
Once you’ve made your colour selection, we can officially start formulating your custom kitchen cabinet paint. Our coating is strategically formulated for long-lasting results in your kitchen, providing all of the benefits of brand-new kitchen cabinets, but in a paint: a flexible, scratch-resistant, chemical-resistant finish, washable, and durable finish.
3. Spray-Booth Set-Up
On revamp day, we start by setting up a fully ventilated spray booth right in your home, equipped with drying racks and infrared lamps. This creates the ideal environment for all kitchen cabinet preparation, painting and drying. By effectively extracting fumes and containing dust, our spray booth allows us to deliver a kitchen renovation without any of the mess. Not only does our spray booth guarantee a clean kitchen renovation, our on-site process means a quicker renovation without prolonged disruption to your kitchen.
4. Remove Cabinets & Hardware
Next, we’ll remove all kitchen cabinets doors, drawers, and hardware so we can get started on masking and surface preparation.
5. Mask & protect all surfaces
We mask and protect all surfaces that are not being painted, including the ceiling, floors, backsplash, appliances, and counter tops. If we’re not painting the inside of your cabinets, you don’t have to worry about completely emptying them out. We’ll mask and seal off the area to ensure that no dust or debris can enter.
6. Surface preparation and repairs
Our surface preparation process begins with degreasing, scuffing, and sanding all surfaces, including cabinet doors, drawers, and cabinet boxes. To repair scratches and chips, we use our exclusive grain filler, which is equivalent to 2.5 applications of standard grain filler. If you desire a smoother finish, our ultra-thick grain filler will help hide the natural grain of your wood cabinets. Finally, we vacuum up all dust and wipe down all surfaces with our proprietary cleansing solution to open the pores of the surface, ensuring adequate adhesion of our coating.
7. Prime all surfaces
Next, we use our proprietary and custom-formulated, high-build primer to promote maximum adhesion, ensure flawless and uniform color coverage, and stop any tannin bleed (a common occurrence when painting hardwoods).
8. Spray paint application
Now, the magic happens! Using our water-based and odorless 2-component polyurethane coating, we spray all your kitchen cabinet boxes, and use our suspended spraying rack to spray your cabinet doors quickly and effortlessly for a smooth, streak-free finish every time. You won’t believe you didn’t replace your cabinets when you see your kitchen for the first time!
9. Dry and Cure
Our spray booth is equipped with infrared lamps to accelerate the drying and curing of our kitchen cabinet paint. By the time we leave your home, your cabinets will be dry to the touch and ready to use with care.
10. Clean-up
Lastly, we take down our spray booth, reinstall all cabinet doors and hardware and conduct a final and thorough clean-up. The only thing we’ll leave behind is a set of Spray-Net mugs so you can enjoy your first morning coffee in your new kitchen Spray-Net style!

How much will it cost to Spray-Net my kitchen?
The cost to Spray-Net your kitchen depends on several factors:
- The number of cabinets, shelves, and drawers.
- Whether we are painting the interior shelving of your kitchen (most are white and remain white).
- The extent of repairs.
- Whether wood grain needs to be filled.
The average cost of a project is around $4250. Since we don’t transport your cabinets to and from a paint shop, we’re slightly less expensive than most conventional cabinet painters. When it comes to purchasing new kitchen cabinets, we’re around 65% less than the cost of replacement. To get a ballpark quote for your kitchen, use our kitchen cabinet pricing calculator.
What is your warranty for kitchen cabinets?
We offer a 15-year no-peel warranty with only a few exclusions due to the nature of cabinet materials and usage. Although our kitchen cabinet paint cures to a very hard finish, just like the paint on a new car, it can be chipped and scratched. While our paint is durable, it’s durable within reason and therefore, we can’t warranty against all damage: while we love ‘em, we can’t warranty against the damage caused by say, toddlers! If you happen to scratch or chip your cabinets, we’ll provide you with a touch-up bottle just in case! If requested, we can refinish the cabinet at a charge. Wood damage that can cause paint to peel is out of our control, since the same would also happen with brand-new wood cabinets. Proper air flow will avoid this from happening. Under normal conditions, our coating will last as long, if not longer, as any coating on brand-new kitchen cabinets. Usage, environment, and care will be the biggest determinants of the effects of “wear and tear”.
Can you really paint and revamp my kitchen in just one day?
Yes. It all comes down to our proprietary chemistry, specialized equipment, and unique process. Instead of bringing your cabinets offsite to a paint shop, we set up an interior, completely ventilated spray booth so we can paint, dry, and cure all cabinets and surfaces without ever leaving your home. We’ve also formulated our coating to ensure quick and efficient indoor dry time. While most of our projects take one day, larger kitchens may take up to 2-3 days.
Do you do repairs before painting? I have some chips and scratches on my kitchen cabinets.
Yes! We can repair chips and scratches with our, high-build wood filler. We also apply a proprietary primer to your cabinets and sand them before spraying our topcoat to minimize the appearance of chips and scratches.
How long do I have to wait until I can use my kitchen after painting?
As soon as we leave, our kitchen cabinet paint will be dry to the touch. We use infrared lamps to accelerate the curing of our paint so you can safely touch them within hours of application. However, full hardness and adhesion only occur once the paint is fully cured. Surface and temperature dependent, this can sometimes take up to ten (10) days, leaving your paint film slightly more fragile during this curing period. Therefore, it’s important you handle the coated surfaces with a bit more care during this time.
