How Spray-Net Restyling Works

Many homeowners think their only options are a sloppy, brush-and-roller paint job or a massive $15,000+ big-box store refacing project. Spray-Net’s Cabinet Restyling is a hybrid solution engineered to give you the exact look and long-term durability of a brand-new kitchen — without the unnecessary waste, time, or cost.

1

On-Site Precision Box Coating

We don’t just paint your kitchen; we apply custom chemistry. Our specialized primer and industrial coating system bond directly to your existing laminate, melamine, wood or thermofoil cabinet boxes, creating a permanent, factory-smooth bond without tedious, damaging stripping.

2

The Custom Door Swap

Instead of wrapping your old doors in cheap vinyl veneers that bubble near heat, we replace them entirely. We swap out your old, dated drawer fronts and doors with brand-new, premium single-piece MDF or HDF profiles. It’s also the fix for oak or wood grain doors you want smoothed out, and for 5-piece doors showing color bleed in humid kitchens.

3

The Exact-Match Finish

Your new doors are custom-sprayed in the exact same industrial application as your existing cabinet boxes. The final result is a perfectly uniform, ultra-durable matte or satin finish that looks, feels, and performs like it just rolled out of a high-end manufacturing facility.

Your Style. Any Color.

From crisp modern whites to deep, moody tones — choose any color, any finish, any door profile. It’s your kitchen, restyled exactly your way.

How Much Does Kitchen Cabinet Refacing & Door Replacement Cost?

While a traditional kitchen remodel or conventional big-box store refacing can easily cost between $10,000 and $60,000, Spray-Net’s Cabinet Restyling service typically costs 30% to 50% less for a comparable premium tier. Because we spray-coat your existing cabinet boxes on-site and only replace the doors and drawer fronts with custom MDF profiles, you get a brand-new kitchen look without paying the heavy replacement markup.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kitchen Cabinet Door Replacement

What is the difference between conventional cabinet refacing and Spray-Net restyling?
Traditional refacing covers your cabinet boxes with a veneer or laminate and replaces the doors. It typically costs $10,000 or more and takes 1 to 2 weeks. Spray-Net Restyling keeps your existing cabinet boxes in place and sprays them on- site. We then install new shaker or flat-panel doors and drawer fronts, finished in the same color. Nothing is wrapped, and the finish is backed by a 15-year warranty against peeling.
Can you spray over existing thermofoil or laminate kitchen cabinet boxes?
Yes. Our coating system can be applied to laminate, melamine, thermofoil, and wood cabinet boxes. There is no need to replace the boxes. If the thermofoil is peeling, we remove the loose material and repair the surface before spraying.
How long does the on-site kitchen restyling process take?
Once your new doors arrive, the work in your home usually takes 2 to 3 days. Your cabinet boxes stay in place throughout the process. The new doors generally take 1 to 3 weeks to manufacture and deliver. No work begins in your kitchen until they arrive, so you can continue using it during that time.
What is the warranty?
Our cabinet finish is backed by a 15-year warranty against peeling. Unlike the limited warranty found on a can of paint, our warranty covers both the product and its professional application.
Do you replace the whole drawer, or just the front?
We replace the drawer front, not the entire drawer. Your existing drawer box stays in place as long as it is still in good condition. A full replacement is only needed if the drawer box is damaged.
What if my thermofoil is peeling?
That’s not a problem. We remove the loose thermofoil, repair the surface underneath, and apply our coating system. If the cabinet doors are peeling, bubbling, or separating, Restyling is usually the best option because the damaged doors are replaced instead of painted.
Can you create a smooth finish on outdated oak doors?
Yes. You have two options. We can refinish your existing oak doors using a grain filler, primer, and sprayed topcoat. However, some of the wood grain may still be slightly visible. For a completely smooth, modern finish, Restyling replaces the oak doors with new shaker or flat-panel doors. Your existing cabinet boxes stay in place and are finished to match.
Why can 5-piece cabinet doors shift or show discoloration?
These doors are made from several separate pieces of wood. Changes in humidity can cause the pieces to move slightly, making lines or discoloration appear around the centre panel. Replacing them with one-piece shaker or flat-panel doors helps prevent this problem. If you keep your existing doors, the edges and grooves must be properly sealed.
